The Eclipse Tasting
To mark the arrival of red wine season, we invite you to experience the Eclipse Tasting, a journey through Paso Robles’ rich terroir with a carefully curated selection of red wines that showcase the distinct characteristics of the Paso Robles AVA. This tasting includes six exclusive single-vineyard red wines, featuring single-varietal Cabernets from the Adelaida District, Hawks Hill Ranch, and Defiance Vineyard in the Creston District, as well as the layered blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah from Deseo Vineyard. Inaugural Red Wine Vintages
This year, Serial introduced several inaugural wine selections, expanding our Paso Robles collection with distinct new expressions that capture the essence of the region’s diverse terroirs.
In the 2024 Spring Release, we unveiled two standout wines from the limestone-rich slopes of the acclaimed Adelaida District in northwestern Paso Robles. The 2021 Serial Adelaida District Zinfandel offers a bright, layered profile that highlights the region’s mineral complexity, while the 2021 Serial Hawks Hill Ranch Adelaida District Cabernet Sauvignon brings forward a vibrant, intricate structure with remarkable depth. These wines capture the unique characteristics of Adelaida’s rugged landscape, reflecting the bold flavors that limestone soils impart.
The Fall Release continued this journey with three more inaugural selections. The 2021 Serial Bien Nacido Syrah from Santa Maria Valley introduced an elegant, aromatic expression of Syrah, showcasing the cool climate’s influence on depth and finesse. Next, the 2021 Serial Willow Creek Cabernet Sauvignon delivered a powerful, rich profile that speaks to Willow Creek’s distinctive warm climate, followed by the intense 2021 Serial Defiance Vineyard Creston District Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine of remarkable concentration and structure. These stunning red wine selections are available to taste by the glass or bottle in our downtown Paso Robles tasting lounge.
